Job Summary
Monitor production performance and quality controls while working with supervisors to reallocate resources and resolve process issues. Manage daily stand-ups, vendor/customer meetings, and employee escalations, ensuring proper workflow across departments. Track inventory levels, WIP aging, and KPI/SLA performance, escalating concerns as needed. Lead 6S audits, implement floor adjustments, and maintain attendance rosters for emergency evacuations. Perform on-the-job training and work station assessments for the team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 year of previous light manufacturing experience or 1 year of previous Inspector experience
- Proficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectations
- Strong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of shop floor systems (CVision, Oracle, Unit Tracker, Great Plains, Ghost)
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
- Must be proficient and certified in the area that they are responsible for leading
- Forklift certified if needed for area of responsibility
Desired Qualifications
- Database software- data entry software in existing programs
- Prior leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, operations, or another applicable environment
- Spreadsheet software- Microsoft Excel- basic understanding and data entry into a preformed spreadsheet
- Word processing- Microsoft Word- basic documents and reports
