Job Summary
Conduct receiving, inspecting, and unloading of shipments from trucks or containers, verifying quantities and part numbers against purchase orders. Operate a sit-down forklift to support truck unloading and transport materials between warehouse and production areas. Remove excess packaging, trash, and non-essential materials prior to delivery to the production floor. Organize storage areas, maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, and stock replenishment as needed. Report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged materials to appropriate personnel while following all safety procedures to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment. Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years in sit-down Forklift operations
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, pick lists, or basic inventory documents
- Basic attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials (typically up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliability
- Attendance on a regular, consistent basis
