Receiving - Material Handler I

Job Summary
Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks; accurately pick parts throughout the warehouse; weigh product using proper scales; check part numbers and quantities with high accuracy; pack orders into shipping cartons and verify all components for the correct customer; read customer order notes and fulfill orders with any special customer requirements; maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies; assist in counting physical inventory and perform inventory audits; notify Lead or Supervisor of stock shelf issues; report defective materials or shortages to leadership; maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness; follow all safety rules; other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years of related job experience preferred
- RF handheld experience preferred
- Certified to operate forklifts and cherry pickers
- Strong proficiency in English communication including reading, writing, and verbal interactions are required for complying with safety protocols and operational procedures
