Job Summary
Receiving - Material Handler responsible for inventory management of incoming products and parts in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include unloading and staging deliveries, entering received goods into the system, ensuring correct labeling and identity, transferring stock to inventory or manufacturing, handling discrepancies via the RDR form, logging returns, communicating quality issues to QA, and coordinating with Purchasing. Tasks also cover operating an electronic counting scale, forklift (licensed when required), RF scanning, verifying shipments, handling non-inventory items, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining a clean, 5S-aligned workspace while following safety policies. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- minimum of 1 year warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with ERP, bar coding systems and wireless device strongly preferred
- Ability to use scanner devices and computer literacy with MRP programs and reports required
- Detail oriented; able to work with numbers and count large quantities accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact with all levels of staff; able to work as part of a team; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Previous powered industrial truck experience preferred; may require license within 1 month of employment
