Job Summary
Unloading, inspecting, and storing incoming raw materials and components for window production while verifying against purchase orders. Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and physical inventories, ensuring proper rotation to prevent damage. Move materials using forklifts or electric pallet jacks to ensure safe and efficient transport across the facility. Identify and report quality issues with materials, assisting in quality checks and troubleshooting. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, using personal protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment. Communicate with production, shipping, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Experience with material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to read and understand instructions, and to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Basic computer skills for inventory management
