Receiving Manager

Job Summary
Lead all inbound receiving operations by supervising the team, ensuring accurate receipt and put-away of inventory, and maintaining strict safety standards. Direct daily activities including unloading, inspection, verification, and system entry in Eclipse while investigating discrepancies and resolving vendor issues. Monitor performance against KPIs such as dock-to-stock time and accuracy, implement process improvements, and collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory Control to optimize product flow. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management while ensuring all employees are trained on equipment and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized receiving area in compliance with OSHA regulations and address safety concerns promptly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of warehouse receiving or distribution experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, climb, and twist
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust

- Associate's degree
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems (Eclipse experience preferred)
- Proficient with RF scanners and standard computer applications
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous process improvement
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to prioritize work and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced distribution environment
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving processes, and material handling equipment
