Job Summary
Load, unload, and organize donations including clothing, furniture, and household items to fill trailers efficiently. Assist drivers on routes for donation pick-ups by loading and securing items, while maintaining organized inventory through categorization and placement in designated areas. Collaborate with team members to support overall thrift store operations by responding promptly to demands and working in all assigned areas. Take direction well to complete tasks accurately in a busy, fast-paced environment requiring stamina and adaptability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Reliable and able to take direction well
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Visual acuity to read road signs, maps, and operating instructions
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong back and abdominal muscles
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Good hearing to detect warning signals and communicate effectively
