Job Summary
Lead receiving operations in a retail logistics setting, serving as subject matter expert for incoming freight and overseeing receiving inventory from vendors and distribution centers. Manage inbound and outbound freight coordination, maintain organizational integrity of the receiving area, train and coach the receiving team, plan and prioritize daily activities, assign roles, assist with Return to Vendor/Return Processing, provide input to the Logistics Manager on team performance, and collaborate with Logistics and Yard Teams to resolve inventory inaccuracies. Role involves promoting Fleet Farm initiatives and may involve forklift operation and lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires ability to work flexible schedules and prior supervisory experience in retail/logistics settings.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2 years of retail, logistics, or warehouse supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
