Job Summary
Receive and unload incoming casting shipments, verifying delivery documents against purchase orders and staging materials safely. Visually examine items for damage, check quantities and serial numbers, and conduct required testing or inspections for counterfeit products. Enter received data into applicable systems, complete paperwork, and upload certificates. Resolve discrepancies by communicating with suppliers and initiating corrective actions with quality control personnel, while quarantining non-conforming materials per established procedures. Maintain a safe, organized receiving area by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards immediately. This 1-day shift position runs Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of experience in receiving, warehousing, or quality control.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify even minor discrepancies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer literacy and data entry.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 lbs.
- 1- Day Shift position opening- Hours are from 7:00am - 3:30pm- Monday through Friday
- Overtime work required depending on department demands.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with measurement/gauging inspection tools is a plus.
