Job Summary
Receiving Inspector (Incoming Quality Control) – perform incoming inspection of raw materials, components, and parts; verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders; conduct full inspection to ensure materials meet specifications; use hand tools and inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.); read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications; identify and document non-conforming materials; work with suppliers, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies; maintain accurate inspection records and documentation; support inventory accuracy and material control processes.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in receiving inspection or quality control
- Experience with full inspection and counting of incoming materials
- Proficiency using inspection tools and measuring equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
