Job Summary
Pull and fill sample orders, perform inventory cycle counts, restock samples, and manage returns. Update the AS400 system with data from cycle counts and assist associates with workload as needed. Maintain department housekeeping and support the planning department on an as-needed basis. Requires forklift certification, one year of carpet experience, and ability to work overtime including weekends in a general warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of working with carpet
- Computer literate, AS 400, Lotus 1,2,3, CMS, Lotus Notes
- Communication skills to read, understand and discuss (in English) numerical and alphabetical lot numbers and other product/production information
- Experience driving a forklift
- Experience making effective decisions in supervisors' absence
- Must have forklift certification or pass certification test prior to accepting job
- Work overtime as needed, including weekends
