Job Summary
Receive all incoming product systematically, label it with correct part numbers, and move it to designated locations. Count and process intercompany product, run weekly cycle counts for Uline items, and maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and recording shortages. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, signal operators for loading docks, and keep inventory and machinery clean. Perform daily safety inspections of all forklifts and adhere to workplace safety regulations. Document materials, record units delivered and shipped, and contribute to the orderly operation of the stock and materials storage area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing and shipping experience
- Ability to be forklift trained
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, IQMS)
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to identify work priorities, met deadlines, and function with little supervision
- Ability to work well with others
- Attention to detail required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Comfort and ability to be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, heat and cold
- 1st shift hours are 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday
