Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Ability to operate a forklift
• •Valid Driver's License
• •Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
• •Frequent moderate physical effort
• •Use hands and fingers to control, handle and feel objects
• •Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds when necessary
• •Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly as well as climb stairs/ladders
• •Ability to see details of an object from a distance and close-up
• •Talk and hear in person and by telephone
• •Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• •Ability to write simple correspondence
• •Ability to effectively present information
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• •Ability to interpret and manipulate common computer software programs
• •Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
• •Ability to perform these operations using unity of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance
• •Ability to take and understand measurements in millimeters
• •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions
• •Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Desired Qualifications

• •Preferred experience with shipping and receiving in a warehouse setting
• •Mechanical aptitude
