Job Summary
The Receiving Associate is responsible for assisting in warehouse operations, unloading, auditing, and staging product to recover store inventory. Candidates should have 1-2 years of warehouse experience, forklift driving experience, and effective communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions and a fast-paced environment is crucial. Responsibilities include ensuring products are staged for counting and inspection, completing receiving paperwork, storing products properly, overseeing inventory rotation, and adhering to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience driving a forklift is preferred
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Attentive to detail
- Ability to work in different weather conditions
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
- Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons
