Job Summary
Verify and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments by examining contents against manifests, invoices, and purchase orders. Inspect product quality, identify damaged goods or shortages, and document discrepancies. Move materials using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks to appropriate storage locations while maintaining a clean environment. Calculate storage, shipping, and related charges as necessary. Follow instructions from managers and supervisors accurately. This role requires a 4/10 work schedule from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, including Sundays. Candidates must work in dry, refrigerated, and frozen environments and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in food distribution is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of related experience
- Must be able to work Sunday
- Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in dry, cooler, and frozen environments
- Familiarity with warehouse or inventory software systems
