Job Summary
The Receiver is responsible for efficiently checking and verifying all grocery merchandise received, maintaining accuracy in the Vendor Receiving Log, processing credits for stale merchandise, and managing vendor traffic. Additional duties include ensuring the quality and proper count of delivered items, handling damaged goods according to company policies, processing in-store transfers, and maintaining security standards in the receiving area. A Sunday premium of $1 is offered, and the position requires strong organizational skills and physical ability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills for proper filing of vendor invoices
- Ability to push or pull large skids of groceries off trailers
