Job Summary
Check in merchandise and verify invoiced products are accounted for while maintaining an honest ethical relationship with vendors and suppliers. Use forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks, ensuring the backroom remains secure, organized, and clean. Adhere to "Meet and Greet" policies to deliver exceptional customer service, staying current with product knowledge and company standards. Turn in all paperwork timely to the Store Director while complying with dress codes and safety requirements. This medium-paced role requires lifting 50 lb. boxes and standing on floors that may become slippery, reporting directly to the Store Director within a friendly, flexible team environment dedicated to supporting local communities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
