Job Summary
Check in merchandise and verify invoiced products are accounted for while using forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks. Maintain the back room by ensuring it is secure, locked when unattended, and kept organized through regular cleaning. Adhere to "Meet and Greet" policies to deliver exceptional customer service and stay current with product knowledge. Submit all paperwork to the Store Director in a timely manner while maintaining ethical relationships with vendors and team members. This medium-physical role requires lifting 50 lb. boxes, standing for extended periods, and working on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
