Job Summary
Check in merchandise received and verify invoiced products are accounted for while loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks. Maintain a secure backroom by locking doors when unattended and keeping the area organized through regular cleaning. Adhere to "Meet and Greet" policies to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure all paperwork is turned in timely to the Store Director. Maintain adequate training for receiving and uphold an honest ethical relationship with vendors and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
