Receiver I Yard/Warehouse

Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by examining shipments for defects and shortages, recording factors causing goods to be returned, unloading and moving incoming shipments to storage, and forwarding approved receiving documents to the appropriate department for processing. This role is with Builders FirstSource and involves basic receiving duties, documentation transmission, and maintaining organized storage of incoming goods. A high school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent education/experience combination is required.
