Job Summary
Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing receiving duties: examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents, records factors causing goods to be returned, unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage, and forwards approved receiving documents to the appropriate department for processing. Includes high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience as a baseline qualification and an emphasis on accurate inspection, documentation, and handling of materials in a warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
