Job Summary
Unload and inspect inbound product to confirm it meets return authorization terms, then accurately sort, verify, and record quantities against company policies. Select the correct purchase order for each shipment and remove all packing materials from cartons before placing them in appropriate recycling containers. Meet receiving deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in processing and keying inbound freight. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned. This role supports the IT Department's connection between people and technology by ensuring precise inventory management for warehouse clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalency
- Minimum 3 years work experience
- Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet
- Attention to detail in processing, keying, and handling inbound product
- Basic math aptitude
- Working knowledge of shipping and receiving practices
- Working knowledge of hazardous materials identification
- Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation to take on additional tasks
- Cautious and deliberate actions resulting in safe performance
