Job Summary
Receive merchandise from vendors, unpack materials, and route items to proper departments while documenting damaged goods or shortages. Verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders, check product quality and expiration dates, and inspect trailer cleanliness for infestations. Unload trucks, break down pallets, select special orders, and stage returned products. Spot check UPCs and nutrition labels, document freight temperatures, and maintain power equipment. Operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and scissor lifts in ambient, refrigerated, or frozen zones. Maintain good attendance, safe work practices, and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. Afternoon shift (2:00pm–10pm) with potential for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a warehouse/logistics environment
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, power jacks)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- SAP experience
- Excellent customer service-oriented attitude

- Must be able to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or overtime depending on operational needs
- Must adhere to PPE guidelines, including cold-weather gear in low-temperature zones
Desired Qualifications
- SQF (Safe Quality Food) experience
- Computer skills in SAP experience preferred
