Rec Center: Direct Support Professional - F/T

Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities and skill development. Responsibilities include transporting and accompanying individuals to medical and other appointments, documenting progress and participating in the development and implementation of service plans, following agency policies, and meeting incident-reporting deadlines. Requires ability to work with individuals with varied abilities, strong communication and listening skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. Education: High School Diploma or GED; Experience: one year working with people who have developmental disabilities. Driving is part of the role. Location: Anchorage, Alaska.
