Job Summary
The Rebuild Technician I will disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, paint, and reassemble crane and hoist components. They will diagnose electrical deficiencies, repair or replace equipment, and program PLCs and Variable Frequency Drives. The role includes rigging and operating overhead cranes, welding, grinding, and fabrication. Responsibilities include inspecting components for defects, disassembling/reassembling, providing repair recommendations to the Rebuild Manager, and performing repairs using welding, pressing, grinding, painting, and related tasks. Must read and understand machining/fabrication blueprints and tape measures, operate with basic mechanical/electrical knowledge, and be able to stand/walk for most of the day with the ability to lift 40-50 pounds; overtime may be required. Working conditions include exposure to heights and hot/cold environments. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 Years Maintenance or Millwright Experience
- Basic Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
- Possess a Valid Driver’s License
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to read and understand machining and fabrication blueprints
- Ability to read tape measure and various scales
- Ability to follow through and complete assignments with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work overtime to complete projects as necessary
- Overhead Crane Use/ Service Knowledge Preferred but not required
