Rebar Fabricator

Job Summary
Fabricate reinforcing steel (rebar) per work orders and rebar tag specifications, including bar size, bends, quantities, and dimensions. Set up and safely operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, automated bending machines). Stack, band, and organize materials to production flow; visually inspect finished materials for conformance; identify defects and adjust per processes. Prepare completed products for shipment with protective materials to prevent damage. Maintain a clean, safe work area; follow safety policies and training; report hazards. Work indoors and outdoors with exposure to weather; lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods; travel less than 10% of the time. Read basic work orders and rebar tags; use PPE as required. Forklift/overhead crane certification may be required where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in rebar fabrication or related production environment
- Experience operating fabrication machinery
- Forklift and/or overhead crane certification where applicable
- Ability to read basic work orders and rebar tags
- PPE use required
