Job Summary
Fabricator role in CMC's steel construction reinforcement division. Responsibilities include attending training on applicable equipment, loading/unloading fabrications, maintaining cleanliness of work area, operating production machines per procedures, cross-training on multiple machines, and adhering to safety programs. Requires operating rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, welders, etc.), willingness to work overtime, read technical manuals, and perform duties in outdoor, all-weather conditions. Emphasis on teamwork, safety culture, and proactive problem solving to support manufacturing and fabrication operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work outside under all weather conditions
- Overtime as required
- Ability to read technical documents
- Strong work ethic and safety compliance
- Team-oriented in fast-paced environment
- Experience with heavy industrial environment preferred but not required
