Job Summary
Rear Pack Driver responsible for safely collecting solid waste and recyclables from commercial buildings using rear- or side-load trucks, loading materials into the vehicle, operating hydraulic systems, and conducting pre-trip/post-trip inspections. Maintains route quality, adheres to safety standards and company policies, reports vehicle issues, may supervise a helper, and may work overtime. Requires a Class 3 CDL, at least one year of commercial driving experience, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; position involves outdoor, loud environments and routine interaction with customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a Class 3 Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria
- Ability to operate truck and equipment safely
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
