Job Summary
Conduct onsite laser scanning surveys for point cloud deliverables using Leica P40, P50, RTC360, and Navvis VLX scanners. Operate conventional survey instruments including Total Stations, Digital Levels, and DGPS. Receive project briefings from senior Field personnel or Project Managers to execute scan plans and provide equipment setup support. Work under direction to deliver survey control and level runs for Reality Capture projects. Travel to field sites, including safety-critical locations and active construction zones, adhering to PPE and weather requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Valid and driving license
- Must be able to lift and carry approx. 50 pounds
- Must be able to navigate confined/crawl spaces
- Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be able to work on active construction sites or facilities
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous relevant scanning, survey, or engineering experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in surveying, engineering, or equivalent experience a plus
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills
- Strong independent management skills
- Ability to build strong partnerships and relationships with Feldman team members
- Troubleshooting and solution-oriented approach to problem solving once training is complete
- Ability to organize, analyze and present information and data in a clear, concise, and meaningful way, including with MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
