Job Summary
Assist attorneys with commercial real estate, financing, lending, acquisition, and sale transactions from inception through closing. Draft, prepare, review, and organize transactional documents and closing materials, including signature packages and due diligence reviews. Track transaction timelines, order title reports, and coordinate with clients, lenders, and opposing counsel. Organize transaction files, prepare closing binders, and assist with UCC filings and entity formation. Conduct document research, process invoices, and support billing and timekeeping. Join our Lake Success office to support a growing practice area with training provided for motivated candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Paralegal experience
- Experience coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and document management skills
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
- Proficiency with legal document management software
Desired Qualifications
- Transactional, real estate, corporate, banking, or finance experience
- Experience with attorney billing and timekeeping software
- Paralegal certificate
- Real estate transactional experience
- Familiarity with commercial real estate transactions
- Familiarity with lending transactions
- Familiarity with acquisitions
