Job Summary
JPMorgan Chase seeks a Real Estate Review Lead to perform reviews of appraisal reports for multifamily residential (5+ units) and/or commercial properties, ensuring market-value credibility per internal policies and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include risk-based decision-making with stakeholders, administering CRE Appraisal Review processes, ongoing market trend analysis, and contributing to a collaborative risk management team. Requires a 4-year college degree, State Certified General Appraiser License, 10+ years of appraisal/review experience across multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial properties, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preference for MAI designation or related certifications and national review experience. Location: New Hyde Park, NY, USA (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- A 4-year college degree
- State Certified General Appraiser License
- Minimum 10 years’ experience appraising and/or reviewing complex multifamily residential, mixed-use, and/or commercial properties
- Strong analytical, business writing, and oral communication skills
- Computer/technology knowledge with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and meet service-level deadlines
- Self-motivated with time management
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving
- Understanding of construction types, mechanical systems, and hazards (flood, environmental, earthquake, zoning)
- Knowledge of local real estate metro areas and neighborhoods
