Job Summary
Real Estate Research Analyst role to grow US real estate research within LGIM’s Private Markets research team. Key duties include establishing and communicating semi-annual strategic views for the US real estate market, authoring approximately four white papers per year, managing regular business, market, and fund reporting for US real estate, and growing the external profile through written reports and external presentations. The role requires using qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data, producing differentiated reports, driving strategic recommendations, and liaising with communications teams to enhance external research visibility. Collaboration with the existing research team and support for broader Global real estate thought projects is expected. The candidate should have an undergraduate degree, 5+ years of experience, strong numeracy, and advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and AI-related skills, plus excellent communication abilities to engage colleagues and clients across seniority levels.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in an economic or financial discipline
- 5+ years relevant work experience
- Analytical mind-set
- Strong Excel, report writing and PowerPoint skills
- Proficient in AI techniques to drive efficiency in workloads
- Practical understanding of real estate investment and occupational markets
- Good awareness of the Environmental, Social and Governance context of investing
- Good communication skills
