Job Summary
Identify new lease sites and negotiate leases for billboard sign locations while maintaining existing leases and owned properties across New Mexico. Read and interpret ordinances, apply for permits at local and state levels, and attend zoning board or city council meetings as needed. Assist with acquisitions and manage multiple projects while traveling overnight as required. This role supports Lindmark Companies in growing its real estate portfolio through strategic site selection and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- 1-3 years of commercial real estate, site acquisition or property/lease management experience
- Knowledge of commercial real estate (leasing, brokerage, site selection)
- Land acquisition or site development
- Property or lease management
- Familiarity with Zoning laws & permitting
- Lease negotiation
- Government processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with internet browsers
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook
- Working knowledge of Google Earth
- Strong attention to detail
- Great organizational skills
- Good communications skills
- Willingness to travel, including overnight trips as needed
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Skilled at managing a high volume of emails efficiently
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in real estate, Business Administration, or Marketing
