Job Summary
Identify new lease sites, negotiate leases and renewals, and read ordinances to apply for permits at local and state levels. Maintain existing leases while working with state and local agencies for zoning purposes and attend zoning board or city council meetings as needed. Read and interpret ordinances and state regulations to manage the company's real estate portfolio of leased and owned properties in New Mexico. Travel across the state is required, including overnight trips as needed. This role supports Lindmark Companies in growing one land lease at a time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- 1-3 years of commercial real estate, site acquisition or property/lease management experience
- Knowledge of commercial real estate (leasing, brokerage, site selection)
- Land acquisition or site development
- Property or lease management
- Familiarity with Zoning laws & permitting
- Lease negotiation
- Government processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook
- Working knowledge of Google Earth
- Willingness to travel, including overnight trips as needed
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Skilled at managing a high volume of emails efficiently
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in real estate, Business Administration, or Marketing
