Job Summary
Enter, audit, and maintain data and documentation to ensure accurate accounting and file management within internal software. Act as the first point of contact with landowners, monitoring zoning ordinances, analyzing lease agreements, and preparing agreements for presentation. Coordinate due diligence for easements, process property tax invoices, and secure governmental approvals for sign sites. Monitor competitor activity, resolve vegetation issues, and negotiate with landowners to ensure continued access to company assets.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn city and state codes/regulations, including permitting and zoning variances
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize demands to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Adobe
- Skill in speaking with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
- Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials
- Knowledge of basic accounting skills and practices
- Ability to operate within a set yearly budget
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, both internally and externally
- Ability to handle confidential information and situations
- A current and valid driver's license
- An Associate's degree with 1 year of experience in business, real estate, leasing, or another related field
- 2 years of experience in business, real estate, leasing, or another related field
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in a related field such as business or real estate
- U.S. work authorization not requiring sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Real estate license
- Notary license
- 1-3 years of experience in land acquisition, zoning, and land use planning
