Job Summary
Global Realty Regional Director for APAC excluding India oversees facilities operations, portfolio planning, acquisitions and disposals, project and move management, crisis management and achieving the financial operating budget for APAC properties. Responsibilities include developing and implementing global strategic plans to identify financial opportunities and efficiency improvements, aligning real estate decisions with the global portfolio strategy, optimizing space utilization, maximizing value while maintaining service delivery, allocating and managing office space, serving as the senior point of contact for property management issues, monitoring ongoing projects and coordinating with contractors and third-party vendors, building relationships with outsourced providers to refine service delivery and best practices, and developing talent to improve organizational effectiveness. Travel is expected periodically in conjunction with real estate transactions. Qualifications emphasize strong relationship-building, strategic thinking, problem solving, independent work, effective communication, and a track record of delivering results. Education specifies a Bachelor's degree with an advanced degree preferred, and substantial corporate real estate experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Advanced business or other advanced degree preferred
- 10 or more years of corporate real estate experience
- Proven ability to cultivate business relationships
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem solving skills
- Proven self-starter who can work independently and with teams, effectively juggle multiple priorities, and has a strong track record of delivering outstanding results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
