Job Summary
Real Estate Paralegal in West Los Angeles (hybrid) for a bi-coastal law firm. Requires a bachelor’s degree or associate degree with an ABA-qualified paralegal certificate and 5+ years of Real Estate/Finance experience. Responsibilities include preparing UCC financing statements, closing escrow instructions and documents, reviewing title policies, coordinating with title companies on policy issues, and filing with the Secretary of State, Department of Corporations, IRS, and Franchise Tax Board to obtain tax IDs. Salary range 100–160k. Hybrid work arrangement in West Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with a paralegal certificate from an ABA-qualified program
- 5+ years of Real Estate/Finance experience
- Experience preparing UCC financing statements, closing escrow instructions, closing documents and binders, reviewing title policies, and working with title companies regarding any policy issues
- Familiarity with filing appropriate documents with the Secretary of State, Department of Corporations, Internal Revenue Service and/or the Franchise Tax Board and obtaining tax identification numbers
