Real Estate Paralegal

Assist with preparation and review of commercial and residential real estate purchase/sale closing documents, and loan documents (including UCC financing statements). Coordinate closings and related tasks such as closing checklists, signature packages, settlement statements, and coordination with transaction parties. Order and review title and survey (including title exceptions), prepare title/survey memoranda and objection letters, and prepare escrow closing letters. Manage due diligence items for sale and loan transactions including zoning/governmental compliance letters, UCC/judgment searches, entity authority documents, good standing certificates, and estoppel letters from lienholders, tenants, and other parties. Order, review, and abstract UCC/judgment/lien search results; obtain zoning reports and conduct related analyses. Prepare consents, resolutions, leases reviews/abstracts, and handle filing/recording documents; prepare closing binders and manage post-closing matters. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of related experience; strong title and survey skills; keen attention to detail; ability to juggle multiple tasks and accommodate rush requests; strong communication and customer service skills; and creativity in developing solutions.
