Job Summary
Experienced real estate title closer/paralegal needed to handle residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from contract to post-closing. Responsibilities include researching files, managing escrow and settlement statements, organizing closing documents, clearing exceptions, reviewing mortgage liens, handling HOA documents, coordinating with clients, attorneys, agents, underwriters, lenders and other parties, meeting deadlines with checklists, issuing title policy, tracking post-closing requirements, and acting as the central point of communication for deals. Tech proficiency required with title production systems (Qualia or Softpro), CertifID, Simplifile, and Microsoft Office. Compensation is market-based with health insurance and retirement match. On-site location in Sarasota, FL.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in Florida title/real estate closings
- Experience managing files from open to post-close
- Direct experience preparing CDs/settlement statements
- Experience with title production systems like Qualia or Softpro
- Experience with CertifID, Simplifile, and e-recording platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
