Job Summary
Manage deal files, maintain checklists, and assist attorneys in preparing entity formation and organizational documents for complex commercial real estate and corporate transactions. Review title reports, surveys, and diligence materials; draft correspondence with clients, counsel, and vendors; and prepare signature pages and closing binders. Create and edit written materials, track time daily, and handle administrative tasks including scanning, copying, and FedEx packages. Local travel may be required for client meetings and closings. This role involves working Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to pm with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies
- Bachelor's Degree and a Certification in Paralegal Studies
- at least three (3) years of paralegal experience
- Demonstrated skill in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Proven ability to handle all support aspects of a commercial real estate transaction, including title and survey review, document drafting, entity formation and maintenance, preparation and tracking of signature pages for transactional documents, and adherence to pre- and post-closing procedures
- Experience coordinating with clients, attorneys, and outside vendors (including title companies and corporate service providers)
- Excellent word processing and computer skills

Desired Qualifications
- Qualification as a Notary Public (or willingness to become a Notary Public)
- Experience with filing SS-4s and related forms with the IRS to obtain EINs
