Job Summary
Search the MLS daily for stale, distressed, and investor-friendly properties; contact listing agents directly to uncover seller motivation and negotiate discounted offers. Structure and submit purchase agreements, then work with acquisitions and dispositions teams to move contracted properties through the nationwide investor network. Maintain consistent follow-up, manage the pipeline in our CRM, and help build scripts and processes to scale this strategy across additional markets. Consistently hit outreach, offer, and revenue targets as a licensed 1099 contractor with full ownership over your day. Collaborate directly with founders Jordan Wise and Daniel Newman in North Hollywood to develop systems that turn this new acquisition channel into a scalable revenue stream.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Real Estate License or willingness to obtain one
- Proven experience sourcing and closing investment properties through the MLS and direct outreach to listing agents
- Track record of successfully closing transactions using this or a substantially similar acquisition strategy
- Previous experience targeting stale, distressed, price-reduced, or otherwise investor-friendly MLS listings
- Strong understanding of residential real estate transactions, contracts, and negotiations
- Experience analyzing properties and determining investor acquisition prices
- Experience in real estate wholesaling, fix-and-flip acquisitions, investment sales, or a similar investor-focused environment
- Strong phone presence and confidence communicating and negotiating with experienced real estate professionals
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and consistently following up
- Ability to independently manage a pipeline from initial property identification through executed contract
- Highly organized, competitive, persistent, and motivated by measurable results
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of a new initiative and help develop the processes required to scale it
Desired Qualifications
- California real estate broker's license
- Experience with property wholesaling before partnering with founders
- Degree in Real Estate Development
- Experience managing remote teams of agents, contractors, subcontractors, and property managers
- Extensive construction expertise
- Degree from USC
- Experience raising significant funds through debt financing
- Experience building a high-performing team and scaling technology-driven enterprises
- Experience in property wholesaling
