Job Summary
Provide practical, business-focused legal advice on commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, portfolio management, property development, and asset management. Draft, review, and negotiate documentation such as leases, sale and purchase agreements, and development agreements. Support property transactions by conducting due diligence, reviewing titles, and coordinating with external counsel on landlord and tenant matters. Work closely with legal, finance, and business teams to manage risk and deliver commercial outcomes. This role requires a UK-qualified lawyer with experience in leasing, acquisitions, and development. Required Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK
- relevant real estate or commercial property experience
- Experience advising on one or more areas of commercial real estate, including leasing, acquisitions and disposals, development, property management, portfolio work or landlord and tenant matters
- Experience gained in private practice, in-house or on secondment, supporting commercial, corporate, real estate, retail, infrastructure or property-focused organisations
- Strong commercial awareness
