Job Summary
Review, underwrite, and close assigned development proposals, including production proposals, loan restructurings, and asset transfers, in accordance with prudent credit and underwriting standards. Analyze application completeness, site suitability, marketability, and financial feasibility to identify and resolve underwriting issues. Manage approximately 7–10 active development proposals with total costs ranging from $2.5 million to $15 million, coordinating with nonprofit sponsors, developers, investors, and regulatory agencies. Prepare funding recommendations, Board presentations, commitment letters, and technical reports to support project approval and closing. Monitor internal processes to ensure timely loan closings and project completion. Participate in developing new loan programs and revising underwriting guidelines. Prioritize multiple assignments in a complex financing environment while meeting established deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in commercial real estate lending and/or real estate development
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field
