Job Summary
Process and prepare documents for residential and commercial real estate transactions by maintaining extensive client contact in a high-volume practice. Open files, attend to pre-closing requirements such as ordering title work and obtaining payoffs, and coordinate between clients, buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and attorneys. Schedule appointments, update case management software, and handle post-closing duties including disbursing funds, recording documents, and updating client websites. Prepare and balance CDs, HUDs, and ALTA statements while facilitating the clearing of title issues. Requires 2-3 years of experience handling transactions from preliminary title opinion to final policy, proficiency in MS Office, and a willingness to obtain a Notary License. This role operates in a clerical office setting with standard equipment and involves lifting files up to 15 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in handling real estate transactions from preliminary title opinion to final policy
- Understanding of tax and HOA prorations and payoff per diem
- Proficient in MS Office
- High level of attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain a Notary License in the state of employment
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks on a high-volume team
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in handling real estate transactions from preliminary title opinion to final policy
- Experience with SoftPro and Protrsust
- Active Notary License in state of employment
