Job Summary
Real Estate Associate with 1–5 years of experience in a national law firm, based in Las Vegas. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, operating agreements, loan documents, leases, easements, development agreements, and related documents; managing transactions end-to-end from LOI to close; coordinating with title companies, lenders, municipalities, and opposing counsel; conducting and coordinating due diligence across acquisitions and dispositions; advising on structuring of acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development projects, and real estate financings; supporting commercial leasing across asset types; handling real estate finance transactions including construction loans, permanent financing, mezzanine loans, and loan modifications; collaborating with land use, environmental, tax, and corporate teams; supervising junior associates and paralegals; building client relationships through direct interaction and deal management.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar admission in good standing (Nevada bar membership or willingness to obtain)
- 1–5 years of substantive commercial real estate transactional experience at a law firm or in-house
- Experience in one or more of: real estate finance, leasing, acquisitions/dispositions, joint ventures, or development transactions
- Outstanding drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong academic credentials and analytical ability
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team-first mentality
