Job Summary
Experienced transactional real estate attorney sought by a law firm in Sarasota, Florida. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial real estate purchase agreements, leases, easement and option agreements; reviewing title commitments and clearing mortgages and other liens; supervising closers/paralegals in preparing Settlement Statements and guiding the closing process. Bonus experience with 1031 exchanges and condo documents for condo developers. The firm is willing to provide training for basic real estate law and corporate drafting. Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in real estate transactions
- drafting and negotiating commercial real estate purchase agreements
- drafting and negotiating commercial leases
- easement agreements
- option agreements
- review of title commitments
- clearing mortgages and other liens and encumbrances
- supervising closers/paralegals in preparing Settlement Statements and the closing process
- experience with condo documents and condo developers (preferred)
- basic corporate drafting (operating agreements, buyouts) or willingness to train in these areas
- ability to work in Sarasota, FL
