Job Summary
Litigation Associate/Attorney with 2-4 years of experience sought to join a Boca Raton boutique law firm. Responsibilities include managing a caseload from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, maintaining client communications, assisting with discovery, attending hearings and depositions, trial preparation, collaborating with senior attorneys and partners, contributing to business development and client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. Requires JD, active Florida Bar or eligibility to join, and strong writing, research, and communication skills. Compensation is salary commensurate with experience with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Florida Bar or ability to become a member within a reasonable timeframe
- 2-4 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting, with a focus on commercial litigation, real estate disputes, or related areas
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools, document management systems, and litigation software
