Job Summary
Lead and oversee multiple ready-mix concrete plant locations in the San Antonio area to optimize safety, quality, production volume, and cost. Responsible for driving operational efficiency, supervising plant and driver personnel, coordinating with maintenance, sales, quality control, and dispatch, managing inventory and procurement of raw materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental/safety standards, and leveraging software to monitor and manage plant activities and reporting. Requires 5+ years in Ready Mix or related heavy industrial operations with at least 2 years in leadership/multi-site management; Bachelor's degree preferred; strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills; knowledge of DOT regulations and relevant equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Ready Mix or related heavy industrial/construction operations
- at least 2 years in a leadership or multi-site management role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Proven ability to lead teams, make timely decisions, and drive performance in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety compliance, and basic mechanical systems relevant to plant and fleet operations
- Proficiency in industry software such as Keystone, Command Alkon, or similar dispatch and operational platforms
