Job Summary
Own and lead business development across Germany and Austria for Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions. Build and execute sales strategies to deliver growth, identify/qualify/close opportunities from first contact to contract, and develop deep relationships with senior stakeholders in pharma, biotech, and related industries. Translate client needs into tailored PSS service solutions, lead proposals, commercial negotiations, and contracting processes with senior leadership support. Collaborate with Key Account Managers, site leaders, and global teams to maximize cross-selling and alignment. Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and CRM-compliant reporting. Represent Eurofins PSS at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to elevate the brand. Drive continuous improvement by identifying new service opportunities and market trends.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent business/vocational qualification; additional business or finance training is a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development
- Proven success selling complex service solutions to senior decision-makers
- Experience with insourcing, outsourcing, managed services, or laboratory services is highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of product commercialisation, manufacturing, supply chain processes, and associated testing/service needs
- Excellent German and English communication skills
- Ability to influence across functions, collaborate across sites, and build strong internal and external networks
- Credibility and confidence when engaging with senior leadership
- Strategic mindset paired with hands-on commercial drive
- High energy, resilience, and a passion for opening new markets and winning new clients
