Job Summary
Drive a truck equipped with a concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites, performing pre-trip inspections and filling water tanks before each delivery. Upon receiving the delivery ticket, charge the mixer with concrete and admixtures, then navigate to the job site using map books and experience to ensure on-time delivery. Safely maneuver the truck in unstable ground conditions, add necessary ingredients like fibers or cement, and place chutes for discharge per customer needs. Complete all paperwork and collect payments before leaving the site, while communicating with dispatch via radio and truck status signaling. Call out daily start times and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Class A or B CDL or CDL Permit
- High school diploma (minimum); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation drug screen and physical
- Maintain driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations and meet company policy requirements
- Ability to handle cash and make change
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Must be able to read, write and speak in English
- Maintain Department of Transportation Health cond.

- Average Work Hours: 10 hours/day, 4 - 6 days/week
- Extremes temperatures (C or H)
